Andy Goldsworthy is by far my favorite sculptors. His work is creative and unique. In his documentary film “Rivers & Tides” he discusses his creative process of his work. He is an amazing artist. You can see his work at the Storm King Art Center in upstate Mountainville, New York.

SEEN “The God Father of Grafitti”
Probably the most influential writer in the history of “Writing”. I first saw his work in a book called Spraycan Art by Henry Chalfant & James Prigoff, while I was in my first semester at Parsons School Of Design. I was 17 years old at the time and I was clinging to my childhood dreams of being a “Writer”. In the book they’re many talented writers from all over the world but his seemed to stick out.

Events: Estria’s Invitational Living Word Graffiti Battle

This was my first out door legal Graffiti event at Riverbank Park. This event was so cool not only did they have talented writers but they also had things for kids. They had a black book competition for kids under 18 years old. Along with a live musical performance from a local choir. I can’t wait to attend another event like this. I found out about this event through graffiti.org under the events link.

Who doesn’t like live art and music?
Unfortunately I had to work on night of March 20th so I missed it. Thanks to the internet I got to preview the event. I would like to share with you some photos, a video and of course the site. This is what I love about my city, endless creativity and innovation. Going to these kind of events is more than just another social gathering. You really connect and communicate with these people on another level cause this comes from their soul. Below is a preview of what you should expect from this kind of event.

My Experience at Cut & Paste
As a Freelance Artist who works from home it can get boring. I am the type of person who hates routine and the mundane. So I take the time out to go to these events to get some inspiration. Also it’s a great place to meet others who have the same interest as myself. I had a great time that night and I admire the artist who competed. They were truly brave. My first time going to this kind of event. Below is a video clip courtesy of the Cut & Paste web site!
