About The Freelancers Union
I have been a member of the Freelancers Union since 2006. They offer a variety of resources including Health insurance. At this time they are are helping NY Freelancers collect unpaid wages. Recently I went to one of their seminars and spoke with them about this topic. They plan to speak with the law makers in Albany about this matter. Events: Estria’s Invitational Living Word Graffiti Battle
by Six on Feb.26, 2010, under Freelance
This was my first out door legal Graffiti event at Riverbank Park. This event was so cool not only did they have talented writers but they also had things for kids. They had a black book competition for kids under 18 years old. Along with a live musical performance from a local choir. I can’t wait to attend another event like this. I found out about this event through graffiti.org under the events link.

Art Work By Concep
Who doesn’t like live art and music?
Unfortunately I had to work on night of March 20th so I missed it. Thanks to the internet I got to preview the event. I would like to share with you some photos, a video and of course the site. This is what I love about my city, endless creativity and innovation. Going to these kind of events is more than just another social gathering. You really connect and communicate with these people on another level cause this comes from their soul. Below is a preview of what you should expect from this kind of event.

My Experience at Cut & Paste
As a Freelance Artist who works from home it can get boring. I am the type of person who hates routine and the mundane. So I take the time out to go to these events to get some inspiration. Also it’s a great place to meet others who have the same interest as myself. I had a great time that night and I admire the artist who competed. They were truly brave. My first time going to this kind of event. Below is a video clip courtesy of the Cut & Paste web site!
